We herewith would like to inform you we have a maintenance update available for the Aloxy IIoT Hub to further improve stability, security and resolve some minor issues. We strive to continuously improve our services and try to minimize downtime through these scheduled updates.
This maintenance update is primarily focused improving monitoring and logging. We will be extending the automated alerting system and installing a logging stack allowing us to properly investigate all issues and exceptions in the IIoT Hub.
During this maintenance update we simplified the handling of issues as well. We added the ability to silence issues to allow you to visually remove the issue from the dashboard. We updated both dashboards to only include a specific set of issues as per below: - Valve position dashboard: only shows operational and calibration issues - Devices dashboard: only shows network and optimisation issues
The detailed release notes can be found in the manual after the upgrade. Downtime is expected during the course of this update. During this period no real time valve position indication is processed. In case of valve movements during this period, it will be adjusted in the dashboard with the first sensor heartbeat after the update is finalized. Calibration during this period is not advised and should be prevented. In case the scheduled time frame is problematic please let us know ASAP. In case no further notice from Aloxy the update is executed as indicated above.
